After falling in love with each other we fell in love with Japan, and chose that magical island for our private nuptials on December 12, 2022 (our 8th anniversary). 

We tied the knot in Kawagoe, a small town outside of Tokyo, then galavanted across Japan to count down to the new year and celebrate our honeymoon.

A few weeks later on January 9, 2023 we made things officially official at San Francisco City Hall, surrounded by our immediate family (and dozens of other weddings).
